Thomas Vanik, Esq.
Mr. Vanik works primarily on federal, state and local taxation of individuals and business entities, as well as, estate planning and probate. He was admitted to the Ohio Bar in May 2016 after graduating Summa Cum Laude from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law with a focus on tax, estate planning, and business law. He also received his B.S. in Accountancy from Miami University. While attending Cleveland-Marshall, Mr. Vanik served as Articles Editor for the Cleveland State Law Review while also working as a tax return preparer at the tax and estate planning firm Vanik & Butscher, LLP. His article Torpedoing A Transaction: Economic Substance Versus Other Tax Doctrines and the Application of the Strict Liability Penalty was published in the Cleveland State Law Review Journal. In 2014 Mr. Vanik was awarded third place and best written submission in the national American Bar Association Law Student Tax Challenge.
